150th Anniversary Accessibility Project
The PCC have agreed, on the basis of our Mission Action Plan findings, that one of our main areas of focus is to be
WELCOME!
As a first step to demonstrate our commitment to a warm and inclusive welcome, and as the first stage in a project to mark the 150th Anniversary, we would like to put in a permanent, attractive and safe ramp at the South Door, to help all those who would find this easier than the steps, to replace the existing temporary one, see below!

The Friends of St Mary Abbots, a separate charity which has in the past raised funds for some wonderful projects to enhance the church building are now specifically collecting for this project.
The Friends have promised to match every £1 for every £1 you donate, thereby doubling your gift.
If you feel able to contribute something towards a shared, practical expression of the welcome we proclaim, please could you send it to the Friends of St Mary Abbots by cheque, made payable to "Friends of St Mary Abbots Church Kensington" and send it to The Parish Office at St Mary Abbots Centre, Vicarage Gate, London W8 – or give to one of the clergy. To pay by bank transfer please email Steve Atack, Founding Patron, at steveatack@aol.com
We shall be keeping you regularly updated on the state of the appeal and the work itself, and will have some designs available in church and here on this page very soon for you to consider.
