Pilgrimage of Hope
In 2022 Antony, who is now in his third year at the RCM, started a 'Pilgrimage of Hope' charity tour in order to raise money for UNICEF. He performed in 63 Churches in Somerset, followed by 12 Countries around Europe in 12 months covering 13,500 miles. This photograph was taken in the Lobby of Kempinski Hotel Corvinus, Budapest, with of Representatives of Hungarian UNICEF.
Returning from Europe, Anthony has played in 64 London Churches (a map above), with 14 more booked for his Pilgrimage of Hope across London, including St Mary Abbots where he will be playing Ave Maria by Schubert and Meditation from Thais by Massenet as part of the Midday Mass (12 noon) on Tuesday 29th September.
Anthony’s aims have always been threefold:
1. Bring live classical music to people, in the aftermath of Covid.
2. Support the work of UNICEF, providing aid to children in war zones around the world.
3. Inspire other young people to use their talents for good.
We hope that you will come and hear him play and support him by donating at the end of the service,
