Drop by this beautiful, almost jewel-box church to view its lovely stained glass windows. The lofty spire is the tallest in London, and notable parishioners included Sir Isaac Newton and Beatrix Potter. If you're fortunate enough to catch a moment when there's less hustle and bustle inside, use your time for prayer and reflection.   it's a lovely break from the modern madness outside!  Anon.

Hiring the Church

Picture
St Mary Abbots is available to hire for concerts, charity events, school services, meetings and other events.

Our usual capacity is for 750 people sitting in the church, however due to covid-19 we have restricted this to 150 people, with a strict access, seating and exit policy in place to ensure everyone is as safe as possible when inside the church.

We are very happy to facilitate filming in the church, however we will wish to view the script and story line before reaching an agreement and will turn down any event that would prove to be detrimental to the church and its reputation.

If you are interested in hiring the church please contact Leonora on pa@stmaryabbots.org.uk who will discuss the event with you and send you the necessary costs and documentation.  A rough price-guide to hiring the church can be found here, and our booking form can be found here.
