Choral Music at St Mary Abbots

Our professional choir is run by our Director of Music, Mark Uglow. The choir consists of 4 professional and classically trained singers who perform every Sunday at 11.15 am at Choral Matins. Once a month they sing at our 9.30 am Choral Eucharist, with a cantor singing on other Sundays. Our choir, with anything from 4 - 10 singers, is available to hire for weddings, funerals and carol concerts. You can see a clip of them singing at Horatio's Garden carol concert in 2021 HERE. The choir sing at special festival days throughout the year, with Candlemas in January, The Messiah (Parts 2 & 3) at Easter, a special Service of Remembrance on All Souls and The Messiah (Part I) in December 2022 being the most notable and popular. |
